Proposed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Shimla and proceed for local sightseeing

Upon arrival at Shimla, Check in to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax in your room. Have your lunch in any of the nearby restaurants. Post which, early in the evening, you can visit the Shimla Mall Road. Stroll in the market place and relish your tongue with local authentic dishes. You can also purchase some souvenirs from the market. Carry an umbrella with you as you can expect rain anytime.

Day 2: Full day Shimla local sightseeing

The second day will be a memorable day in the tour plan. You will step out for local sightseeing around Shimla. The must-visit attractions are Indira bungalow, Himalayan Zoo, Kufri. You can also entertain yourselves with a few adventure activities in these attractions. Post lunch, you will head to Jakhoo Hill. Here, you can enjoy sweeping views of the beautiful Shimla City. There is also a nature trail in the Hills which you can opt for.Later in the evening, you will visit the Lakkar Bazaar. You can walk through the colourful roads of the Lakkar Bazaar and spend your evening. You can shop in the bazaar and dine in a local restaurant.

Day 3: Drive to Manali and enjoy sightseeing en route

Next day, enjoy an amazing breakfast by gazing the mountains from your hotel room window. After which, you can check out from your hotel and start driving towards Manali. On the way, you can enjoy the scenic landscape, magnificent hills, clouds waving at you happily. This drive will be one of the most memorable drives in your lifetime.Enroute Manali, you can also stop by Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Devi Temple. You can spend a few hours at these attractions and then proceed the drive towards Manali. You can have your lunch in any restaurant on the way.Arrive at Hotel in Manali. After finishing the check-in procedures at the hotel, you can have an early dinner. Post which, you can roam in the nearby areas and then rest.

Day 4: Full day excursion to Rohtang Pass

The fourth day in the Himachal Pradesh tour plan is called the Day of Adventure. After having breakfast at the hotel, you can proceed to Full day excursion to Rohtang Pass. On the way to Rohtang Pass, you can enjoy sightseeing Rahala Falls, Beas Nala and more.You can unleash your yearnings to experience adventure here. Snow is everywhere and yes, do skiing, skating and snow scooter riding. Also, take several Instagram worthy pictures here amidst the snow-capped mountains. You can ride a yak and also go for a couple of rounds.

Day 5: Drive towards Dharamshala

Slurp an amazing breakfast at the hotel. On the 5th day of the 7-day tour plan to Himachal Pradesh, you will drive towards Dharamshala. The drive takes you through the magnificent landscapes and mountains of Himachal Pradesh. You will cross the lush green tea plantations where you can spot men and women toiling hard. Stop at the Palampur tea gardens for a tea break. Sip a cup of tea and enjoy the natural surroundings.On the way, you will also pass through many sightseeing places. You can choose to stop by and relax for a while. Visit the Baijnath Temple and Chamunda Devi Temple to offer your wishes. Later, take a lunch break and tantalise your taste buds with the local dishes of Dharamshala. You can also visit other amazing places and enjoy your day.After arriving at the Dharamshala Hotel, check-in and rest in your hotel room. If you feel to venture out for a stroll, you can step out to enjoy cool weather and the natural surroundings.

Day 6: Drive towards Dalhousie and Explore Mcleodganj

Wake up fresh on the 6th day and get ready to sightsee many Tibetian establishments. After breakfast, you can proceed for a drive towards Dalhousie. Being the birthplace of the great saint Dalai Lama, this region in Himachal Pradesh has its own fame. Even as you drive inside the town, you will see many Tibetian monasteries, saints on your way.Then, you can begin to sightsee the must-visit places in town. You can visit Bhagsunath Temple and St. John Church. Later, you can also shop at the Mcleodganj Market. Post which, you can check in to your hotel and head out for a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7: One day trip to Khajjar

After relishing an amazing breakfast at your hotel in Dalhousie, proceed for a day trip to Khajjar. The drive takes about 7 hours and even as you begin, you will be stunned by the beauty of the town. Fondly called as the Switzerland of India, Khajjar is indeed a serene beauty. Enjoy heart-warming scenes in the town and explore the floating island.
